Active Rotation
Hardware support for portrait mode without the need for specialty software. Ideal for long text documents, web pages, etc., ActiveRotation quickly converts analog and digital signals to portrait mode. It accomplishes this with no reduction in drawing speed or system stability, and eliminates problems of compatibility with other application software. ActiveRotation is powered by an EIZO ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) developed in-house. Active Rotation II is similar and offers the same function and purpose, however it features a gravity sensor allowing the image shown on screen to automatically change between portrait and landscape formats when the monitor is being rotated.
